CrossChasm delivers talk on electric vehicles at FCRC-NRC Colloquium (December 8, 2009)

WATERLOO - CrossChasm is proud to announce that Matthew Stevens will be delivering a talk at the fourth annual FCRC-NRC Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Technologies Colloquium occuring on December 8th at the University of Waterloo.

The talk is entitled 'Electricity as an Alternative Transportation Fuel' and will address the benefits and obstacles of transitioning to electrified vehicles in the light-duty, heavy-duty, and off-road markets. Particular attention will be spent on cost drivers and business models that support electrified powertrains.

A high level comparison of plug-in hybrid, battery-electric, and fuel cell hybrid vehicles will be reviewed including the key operational considerations that inform the powertrain selection.
